Description:

Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and motivated individual contributor to join our Retail Analytics team as a Retail Customer Category Analytics and Insights Manager based at our Duluth, GA facility. This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence three (3) days per week.

In this role, the successful candidate will manage, analyze, and enhance POS and promotional data to support our retail sales and marketing strategies. This individual will be a key enabler of business insights and recommendations that drive customer engagement, category growth, and omni/e-commerce performance. The role serves as a critical interface between Data teams, Sales, Marketing, and Insights & Analytics (I&A), ensuring accurate, timely data delivery and compelling insight generation across internal stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the central point of contact for POS data management and promotion ROI analysis.
  • Develop presentations and business insights that influence customer-facing strategies and internal planning.
  • Upload, input, and manage TPM and internal POS data sources to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Manage and improve eCommerce and Omni-channel dashboards to ensure consistent, high-quality data delivery.
  • Mine secondary data sources (e.g., Numerator, Kantar, Packaged Facts, Cleveland Research) to extract shopper and retail trends and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Collaborate closely with Retail Sales, Retail Strategy & Execution (RSE), Marketing, and I&A teams to align data needs and deliver high-impact storytelling.
  • Provide the data and insight foundation that enables strong retail business recommendations across key customer touchpoints.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • 5–8 years of experience in retail analytics, customer insights, or category management.
  • Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas).
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to translate complex data into compelling insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with syndicated and third-party data sources such as Numerator, Kantar, Packaged Facts, or Cleveland Research.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization or with cross-functional teams in CPG or retail environments.
  • Knowledge of S/4HANA or related enterprise data platforms is a plus.
